Discoverers Group – our children’s group meets on the 3rd Sunday of the month. As we have children aged 2 to 14yrs regularly at our services, we split them into an older group and a younger group to ensure they benefit from age appropriate, Gospel focused, teaching and crafts.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me”.
Children’s Quiet Corner – we have an area at the back of the church available for children and their parents/care givers to use during the service. This allows children to be able to wiggle and move, whilst their parents/care givers can still take part in and follow the service.
Sunday Morning Worship – we are very keen to involve our children and young adults in the running of the services, and they regularly contribute by handing our hymn books, bring the communion elements to the altar, gathering the collection and collecting hymns books after the service.
Further Opportunities – there is scope for our children and young adults to read the bible passages and lead the intercessions during worship. There are also opportunities to train as altar servers and acolytes.
